KYC Document Handling

Your KYC documents (Aadhaar, government IDs, property documents) are among the most sensitive data we process. We handle them with the highest level of care:

  • Documents are uploaded via encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on AWS S3 with AES-256 server-side encryption.
  • Access to KYC documents is restricted to authorized KYC team members only, under strict access controls and audit logging.
  • Aadhaar numbers are masked in our databases — only the last 4 digits are stored in plain text.
  • KYC documents for rejected applications are deleted from our systems within 90 days of rejection.
  • We do not share your KYC data with property owners. Owners only see a verification badge indicating your KYC status.
Section 04

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Property Owners: Basic profile information (name, contact, KYC status) is shared upon booking confirmation — not before.
  • With Payment Processors: Razorpay receives transaction data necessary to process payments. It has its own privacy policy.
  • With Service Providers: Supabase (database and document storage) and our SMS/email delivery providers, all under strict data processing agreements.
  • For Legal Compliance: When required by Indian law, court order, or government authority request.
  • For Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the successor entity subject to equivalent privacy protections.
