Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the VstayInn platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or a minor using the platform under parental/guardian supervision.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
• You are legally authorized to enter into binding agreements under applicable Indian law.
• The information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

Platform Description & Services

VstayInn is a technology-enabled marketplace that connects students seeking accommodation with hostel and PG owners offering verified listings. Our core services include:

• Student Services: Property discovery, comparison tools, KYC-verified booking applications, and digital rent payment tracking.
• Owner Services: Property listing management, tenant application review, occupancy dashboards, and digital rent collection facilitation.
• Platform Services: Identity verification (KYC), customer support, dispute resolution, and payment processing facilitation.

VstayInn acts as an intermediary marketplace. We do not own, operate, or manage any of the listed accommodation properties. Accommodation agreements are directly between the student and the property owner.

User Accounts & Registration

To access the platform's core features, you must register for an account. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share your password with others.
• Promptly notify VstayInn of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Take full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.
• Complete KYC verification as required by your user role (Student or Owner).

KYC Verification Requirements

VstayInn implements a mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process to ensure the safety and trust of all platform users. Verification requirements vary by user type:

• Students: Must submit a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card preferred). Proof of enrolment in an educational institution may additionally be provided, but is not required.
• Property Owners: Must provide Aadhaar Card details. A GST registration number may be added where the owner holds one; it is not a condition of listing.
• KYC documents are stored in access-controlled cloud storage and served only through short-lived signed links, and are reviewed only by authorized VstayInn KYC personnel.
• KYC approval is required before a bed can be allocated to you and before you can check in.

By submitting KYC documents, you consent to our document verification process as described in our Privacy Policy.

Bookings & Accommodation Agreements

When a student submits a booking application through VstayInn:

1. The application is sent to the property owner for review and approval.
2. The owner independently decides to approve or decline the application.
3. Upon approval, both parties are notified and an accommodation agreement is established directly between the student and the owner.
4. VstayInn facilitates — but is not a party to — the accommodation agreement.

Cancellations are subject to the individual property owner's cancellation policy, which will be clearly displayed on the listing prior to booking. For general platform-level cancellation and refund guidance, refer to our Refund Policy.

Payments & Fees

VstayInn facilitates digital rent payments between students and property owners. By using the payment features, you agree that:

• Payment processing is handled by our authorized third-party payment gateway (Razorpay) and is subject to their terms.
• VstayInn charges a zero brokerage fee to students for finding and booking accommodation.
• Platform service fees, if applicable to property owners, will be disclosed in the owner agreement at registration.
• Rent payments, once processed, are disbursed to the property owner within the timeframes specified on the platform.
• All payment amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Prohibited Conduct

Users of VstayInn agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or KYC.
• Listing properties that are not owned, leased, or authorized to be sublet by the listing party.
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour towards other users or VstayInn staff.
• Circumventing the platform to conduct bookings or payments outside of VstayInn to avoid fees.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or compromise the security of the platform.
• Using the platform for any illegal purpose under Indian law, including money laundering or trafficking.
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotional offers or circumvent account suspension.

Violation of any prohibited conduct may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of pending transactions, and/or legal action.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VstayInn and Vijnananai Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform.
• Disputes arising between students and property owners regarding the quality or condition of accommodation.
• Loss of data, property damage, or personal injury occurring at listed properties.
• Platform downtime, technical failures, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to VstayInn in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Before resorting to legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through VstayInn's internal dispute resolution process.

Changes to Terms

VstayInn reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
• Send a notification via email and/or in-app alert to registered users.
• Provide at least 14 days' notice before significant changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
